How many more spaces are there on a Japanese shogi board than on a standard chess board?
Correct Answer:
17. The shogi board is 9 by 9, whereas the regular one is 8 by 8. I think someone just wanted to be different.

I dunno…my knowledge of American history and politics is really weak. Here’s what I’ll guess, based on a quick glance through the sites:
Adams (1824)
Bush (2000)
Also, Jefferson (1801), though I don’t think the popular vote really existed then, so I dunno if this counts.
