[...] So far, we’ve talked about lawyer-proofing your commute and your job, but the most important aspect of your life that you’ll want to protect from legal trouble is also the one prone to the most accidents: your very own home. In fact, according to the Punny Money Institute of Statistics that I just created, over 300% of all accidental deaths this year will happen in your bathroom. But with the help of this article, you could knock that figure down by at least 7%! So without further ado, let’s take a look at some simple steps you can perform to keep those lawyers off your front porch. [...]

I was in an accident last year and liked reading your list...

Assume every driver is stupid.
Although the accident was my fault, any other driver who was not blind or stupid would have been able to avoid the accident with me.

Beef up your protection
Although I'm fine with the minimum's as I'm a poor college kid, I think I will definately consider this in the future when I have more assets. Even though the other guy wasn't injured any and said that he was not hurt an amazing thing happens when they talk to a personal injury lawyer. They seem to find injuries they never had and body parts that were fully functional and could not even been harmed due to the way the accident happened no longer work! Those guys can find injuries not even doctors can :) Simply amazing people. The amount of insurance coverage you have should be thought of if you have alot of money you could lose.
