I’m with you on the “learn a foreign language” tip. I wasn’t taught ANY English grammar until I began learning German. I always assumed that was due to moving so much as a child, but now I wonder…

This is absolutely spot-on. The people I’ve worked with who sign off their poorly worded, fragmented emails with “byeee-eeee!” generally do not communicate efficiently and/or professionally because they’re not aware of the impact of their words. And your writing panache could land you that brainy cutie as well!
