Adventures in First-Time Homebuying #3: How to Find Your First Home, Part 4
Author: Nick
Category: Money
Topics: real estate

Throughout the blogathon, I’ll be sharing some of the different ways you can find your first home.
- Hop in your car and drive around town. What better way to find a home is there than to motor around your area of interest and look for “For Sale” signs? Be sure to take a map with you to help you navigate unfamiliar streets so that you don’t miss out on any hidden-away property gems. When you find a house that interests you, jump out of your vehicle real quick and grab any sale literature for later consideration. Just note that not every house for sale has a sign hanging in the yard, so be sure to consult real estate listings for a full lineup of available homes.
